A photo that appeared to show a raccoon riding an alligator down a river in Florida went viral Sunday.

Richard Jones, of Palatka, told WFTV in Orlando he took the photo in the Ocala National Forest.

Jones told the station his son startled the raccoon, who hopped onto the gator’s back for a moment before jumping off and scurrying back to land.
