This Florida man got arrested after using cow manure as a weapon, police say

Things got messy at a Pasco County dairy last week.

Florida laborer Jose Francisco Ramirez-Callejas was arrested last Wednesday afternoon after getting into a fight with another person at Spoto’s Palm River Dairy in Crystal Springs.

According to a police report from the Pasco County Sherlff’s Office, two men were fighting at the establishment when “the defendant willfully and intentionally threw cow manure into [a] bucket and dumped it over the victim’s head.”

The deputy observed the manure, often used as a fertilizer, splattered on both the individual’s forehead and leg, the complaint said.

Ramirez-Callejas, 47, was arrested on a battery charge and was later released on $2,000 bond. The men’s relationship is unclear.
