Did a Floridian win $394 million Powerball jackpot? Ticket sold in Bonita Springs

A lucky Florida resident may have had the winning Powerball ticket and snagged the $394 million jackpot.

On Wednesday, the winning numbers were announced: 9-12-15-31-60 and the Powerball was 2, the Florida Lottery said. The winning tick was a Quick Pick and was purchased at a 7-Eleven, 4520 Bonita Beach in Bonita Springs.

The jackpot rolled 24 times and generated more than $33 million in contributions to the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund since November before a winner was drawn.

The 7-Eleven will get $100,000 for selling the jackpot-winning ticket. The Powerball winner has 180 days to claim their prize, 60 days if the winner wants the money in one lump-sum, which will bring down the earnings to $274.6 million.

There was also a $1 million winner in Coconut Creek. It was a Quick Pick ticket bought at an M&S Food Store.
