A corn truck smashed into a dump truck in Florida. Insert your corny dad jokes here
Like corn?
Residents of Indiantown, Florida, may not want to see the veggie anytime soon after a crash involving a corn truck on Friday morning.
According to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, the morning commute turned into a big time mess when a semi-truck carrying (you guessed it) smashed into a dump truck.
The sheriff’s office sent out the advisory around 9 a.m.: “Crash, semi vs dump truck ... Avoid area if possible.”
Unless you were already in the area, of course.
Video footage from WFLA shows ears of corn, husks and kernels splattered along the road.
Jokes abounded on the TV station’s Facebook page that carried the headline, “Aw, shucks!”
“If only it was a dump truck of butter.”
“Jimmy crashed corn, and I don’t care.”
“That corn looks like it got creamed.”
No one was injured in the accident, the sheriff’s office reported.
