A Florida alligator park has two new residents, Snoopy and Lt. Dan: They have issues.

Everglades Holiday Park has a new resident.

His name? Snoopy, thanks to his pronounced snout.

We can’t say he’s as cute as the real thing, now starring in a “A Charlie Brown Christmas.”

Park staffer Gabby Scampone posted a picture of the “emaciated” gator on Instagram, explaining why the little guy was so hard to capture.

The reptile is so thin that she and Chris Gillette, star of the former “Gator Boys” on Animal Planet, had trouble getting the snag hook into him.

“He is so skinny!” reads the caption. “We will keep an eye on him and try to fatten him up. But I’m glad we were able to rescue him.”

Commenters asked what was wrong with Snoopy and why he was in such a malnourished state.

“Parasites, a blockage, swallowed a dog collar, not getting enough food,” answered the animal expert, adding that more tests needed to be done. “Could be anything.”

Say hello to the love of my life ️ This is “Lieutenant Dan”, but I call him Little Dan or Dan-Dan. Our team rescued this guy next to the highway, after he was called in as a nuisance. When we got there, we noticed he was beat up and recently had his arm taken off my another gator. He is also missing his hand on the other arm, and half of his tail. I am IN LOVE with him. He’s all healed up now, and we are really starting to see his personality. He loves food so much, and isn’t afraid to get up with the big gators when it’s time to eat. He is a TRUE SURVIVOR! Alligators are so amazing, and can withstand life threatening injuries, such as having their arms and legs ripped off. As sad as that is, they are made for that. They won’t bleed out, and usually heal up without any antibiotics. I’m sooooo happy to have Little Dan here with me at @evergladesholidaypark. You’re going to be seeing a lot more of him now that he’s all healed up and in the pit with the big boys! ️

Another new resident with some physical issues: Lieutenant Dan, named after Gary Sinise’s character who lost his legs in combat in “Forrest Gump.”

Scampone also appears with this alligator on Instagram, explaining that he was found next to a highway, after being called in as a nuisance.

“When we got there, we noticed he was beat up and recently had his arm taken off my another gator,” she wrote of Lt. Dan, aka Little Dan. “He is also missing his hand on the other arm, and half of his tail.”

Despite Dan’s shortcomings, Scampone is “in love.”

“He’s all healed up now, and we are really starting to see his personality. He loves food so much, and isn’t afraid to get up with the big gators when it’s time to eat. He is a TRUE SURVIVOR!”
