Talk about your bumbling burglars.

A video posted on the Lakeland Police Department’s Facebook page shows an individual breaking into a Hyundai Dealership.

The break-in did not go as smoothly as planned.

At about 9 p.m. Nov. 18, an as yet to be identified suspect used a fire extinguisher to break a hole in the wall.

The three minute clip taken from the Polk County business’s surveillance video shows the hole wasn’t user friendly. The man looks to get stuck midway, struggling to get to through, and losing his shorts in the process.

Once completely through the hole and into the dealership, the man then pulls up his shorts and starts rifling through drawers (and not the undergarment kind).

Authorities say the suspect made off with a generator.

They are asking if anyone can identify this “not-so-smooth criminal.”
