O.J. Simpson may not have moved back to Florida, but he still likes to hang out in the Sunshine State.
The fallen football star was spotted at Oak & Stone pizza restaurant and jazz club Ruby’s Elixir in downtown St. Petersburg on Tuesday night, reports The Tampa Bay Times.
The Times said that Simpson is on an out-of-state travel permit through Sunday. He is likely visiting his kids, son Justin Simpson and Sydney Simpson, who both live in the city.
O.J. was released on parole in July after serving nearly nine years for convictions related to the armed robbery of two sports memorabilia dealers in Las Vegas, where he lives.

Patrick Manderfield, press secretary for the Florida Department of Corrections, told The Times via email: “While in Florida, Mr. Simpson is required to adhere to his parole conditions and remain in contact with his parole officer in Nevada.”
The Heisman Trophy winner, who was acquitted of his ex-wife Nicole Brown’s murder in 1995, was apparently in great spirits at both venues, taking selfies with customers.
A social media user named Joe SanFilippo, whose Facebook page says he works at California Pizza Kitchen in Tampa, posted a picture at Oak & Stone with the grinning felon, writing the caption, “OJ Simpson walks into a bar. WTF.”
According to Creative Loafing, Simpson was also enjoying the live music scene at Ruby’s Elixir.
Singer Katie Talbert told Creative Loafing that the 71-year-old former athlete complimented her.
“He walked up to me and said, ‘You have a beautiful voice,’ ” she said, adding that she posted a pic with him, then deleted it.
“I got way too many messages and negative feedback from that. I was over it,” Talbert said.
