Police say she had sex in front of her kids. But that’s not why she’s in jail.

Justice Maryie McKay, 22, has been charged with sexual battery for having sex with a 14-year-old boy, Gainesville police say.

Gainesville police have arrested Justice Maryie McKay, saying she had sex with someone other than her husband three times — including one time when her husband and five children were in the same room.

But that’s not why police got involved and charged her with sexual assault.

According to the Gainesville PD, McKay, 22, focused her attention on a 14-year-old boy.

On July 22, McKay was with her family celebrating a birthday at the house where the teen lived. She messaged the boy via WhatsApp and summoned him to the room where she was with her husband and five kids, The Gainesville Sun reported.

The boy later told police he rebuffed her at first but McKay kissed and disrobed him and the two had sex, according to police.

McKay’s husband and children were apparently asleep at the time, according to the police report.

McKay continued to contact the boy via messages that she “wanted to be with him,” police said.

On Aug. 13, police say, she picked the teen up from a bus stop and took him to her house instead of to school. They had sex again, police say.

Four days later, police say she picked him up at a nearby gas station and they had another sexual encounter.

According to police, McKay left tell-tale signs on the boy’s body — “hickies” and “scratch marks.” When the boy’s mother saw them, she took pictures, showed McKay the marks, then called police.

McKay was arrested on Wednesday and told police she was not guilty. She is being held at Alachua County Jail on a $75,000 bond.
