One minute she was ordering at the McDonald’s drive-thru. The next, she was dead.

It was a simple thing: Placing a breakfast order at the McDonald’s drive-thru.

But it was the last thing one Florida woman would ever do.

On Friday morning, Jacksonville law enforcement officials say that a patron was shot and killed while her car was stopped at the microphone by the outdoor menu at the fast food restaurant.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, the crime may have been caught on surveillance video.

JSO Sgt. Marc Musser told ActionNewsJax there is a possibility that the victim and suspect, who reportedly fled the crime scene in a white car, were in some type of relationship.

First Coast News reports the victim is Jamie Marie Roque. The 32 year old mother of three worked as a hotel desk clerk.

“She was a beautiful person She loved life and her family,” her aunt, Rose Marie Lopez, told the media outlet. “She was just a great, loving person.”

Tributes are pouring into her Facebook page.

Police charged a Miami man with shooting at an unarmed patron at McDonald's. A judge ruled it was self-defense.
