A man walks into a convenience store with a gator under his arm.

He shouts, “Ya’ll got beer, still?”

This isn’t the setup to one of those old Playboy Party Jokes — but it sure sounds like one waiting for a punchline.

Rather, this happened in a Jacksonville convenience store, WTLV First Coast News reported Friday, after the news crew spotted a Facebook video credited to @OnlyinDuval.

In the video, the young bearded man, in jeans, backwards baseball cap and dark T-shirt, is seen carrying a gator, with its mouth taped, from the parking lot into the store’s entrance.

Once inside, he asks the question again. He spots a customer near one of the store’s coolers, and says, “You aren’t taking the last beer are you?”

The man then runs toward the back of the store and around a couple of aisles. Much laughter ensues on the video’s soundtrack.

But according to WTLV, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission might not be amused. It is investigating the incident.

“This is my city. Everything you hear about this state is true,” a Facebook user posted on the video’s thread.
