A baby girl and her 2-year-old sister were the subjects of a missing child alert sent out late Wednesday afternoon by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

Caitlin Smolen, 2, and 5-month-old Kai Smolen were last seen in the 4000 block of Virginia Terrace in West Palm Beach on Friday. FDLE says Sondra Smolen, a 5-foot-4, 210-pound woman with brown hair and brown eyes, might have them.

In a tweet, WPTV reporter Erica Rakow said Smolen’s husband has told police he’s worried because his wife is suffering from post-partum depression and has been on new medication.

FDLE says they might be in a brown 2009 Kia Rondo, Florida license plate Y73X5V. Anyone who has information on their whereabouts can call West Palm Beach police department 561-822-1900.
