Video of the scary moment when lightning struck near a police officer who was standing in a parking lot in Florida has gone viral.

The Apopka Police Department released video of a K-9 officer putting equipment into his cruiser Tuesday night.

When thunder rumbled and lightning struck, the visibly-startled officer leaped right back into the vehicle. A bright flash was seen in the surveillance video.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, multiple transformers were damaged and electricity went out. No one was injured.

WPTV reported that fire officials were called to the scene after, but no damage or fire was located.
