Things took a violent turn at a Fort Pierce home early Monday morning, according to the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office.
As per a police report, Bliss Delois Johnson was arrested, accused of shooting her ex-husband. The 39-year-old was slapped with a premeditated, first-degree attempted murder charge and is still behind bars on $500,000 bail at the St. Lucie County Jail.
According to the arrest affidavit, officers from the Fort Pierce Police Department responded to a call about a gunshot wound.
A man at the home, who was bleeding from an entry wound in his back and exit wound in his abdomen, told first responders that his ex-wife had shot him using "the same gun that he was shot with previously.” The man, later identified as Julius Johnson, said the weapon was a silver .38-caliber revolver, reports TCPalm.com.

The ex-husband said that shortly before the harrowing incident went down, he had contacted Johnson from a nearby McDonald's about her paying a daycare bill. When he got no answer, he walked over to their marital home, where Johnson was standing on the porch waiting for him. They began to quarrel, despite his efforts to calm her down, he said, as per the report.
"B--ch, I ain't arguing with you," is what he told her, as per the affidavit.
Just as he began to walk away, he saw his ex pull a gun from her purse, he said, and then he was shot in the back.
Johnson, who owns a local hair salon and shares three kids with the victim, wasn't done, apparently.
“She then fired three more shots from the weapon (but missed),” the report states.
The victim was transported to a hospital, but his condition is unclear. The children were asleep at the time of the incident, the report adds.
