Surveillance video caught an attempted robbery early Monday morning in an Internet cafe in Lady Lake, Florida, north of Orlando.

In a Facebook post, the Sumter County Sheriff's Office explains what is happening in the 20-second clip.

A woman is behind a counter, counting money. On the counter is what appears to be a tip jar full of cash.

Suddenly in the left side of the frame, a heavyset woman enters the place, called Flip Flops. She's wearing a gray hoodie with her face covered. She points a gun at the worker, who cowers in fear on the floor.

The suspect knocks over the jar, grabs up money on the counter, then runs out. The jar remains. Cash is flying all over the place.

Deputies describe the woman's weapon as a semi-automatic handgun.

"The suspect demanded money while pointing the gun at both clerks and was able to take an undisclosed amount of cash. During the robbery, the suspect is believed to have been shot by an armed security guard as the guard fired two rounds from his firearm."

Apparently, the robbery attempt failed.

"The suspect then dropped the cash and was able to flee into the parking lot where a getaway car was waiting."
