A single-engine plane made a crash landing on a Florida road Sunday morning and it was caught on dash cam video.
The incident happened just before 10:30 a.m. Sunday near Clearwater, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.
Two deputies were in the area on an unrelated call when their dash cam recorded the plane flying dangerously low and then crashing onto the street. The video showed the plane landing in trees on the side of the road, but not before leaving a trail of debris.
According to a sheriff’s office Facebook post, the “deputies rushed to the crash scene to assist the pilot and his passenger.”
