Gas-X capsules recalled because they might have coolant from a leaky machine

Four lots of capsules designed to deal with the bloating and pressure of internal gas have been recalled because they might cause you to throw up or get the runs.

Haleon pulled Gas-X Extra Strength Softgels 125mg because they might have been contaminated with a coolant when a machine leaked during packaging.

“There is a potential that ingestion of the softgels contaminated with the diluted propylene glycol-based coolant may result in adverse events such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain and diarrhea,” Haleon’s FDA-posted recall notice states.
