Publix recalls ground beef sold at a Florida location. It might have ‘foreign material’

Publix made a not-food-in-your-food recall when it recalled two kinds of ground beef products sold at one of its stores on Nov. 25.

The Florida-based chain said ground chuck with 20% fat and a Nov. 27 sell-by date and market ground beef with a Nov. 26 sell-by date from the Santa Rosa Beach area store at 2038 US-98 has “the potential of foreign material.”

If you have this beef, return it to the store for a full refund or throw it away. If you have questions, call Publix at 800-242-1227.
