A Miami company recalled containers of salsa because they might have glass

The latest not-food-in-your-food recall comes from South Miami-Dade’s Glaser Organic Farms, which pulled salsa that might have a very unorganic ingredient: glass.

Tuesday’s FDA Enforcement Report says Glaser didn’t issue a news release for the Oct. 15 recall of 202 8-ounce containers from lot No. 0110092451 of All Raw Vegan Certified Organic Salsa. The best by date on the salsa was Thursday, Oct. 24.

The salsa might have been shipped, bought at Glaser’s Farm Store at 13750 SW 192nd St. or at its Coconut Grove Saturday Farmers Market location at 3300 Grand Ave.

If you have questions on this recall, call Glaser at 305-238-7747.
