Recalls

A major brand recalled 167,000 pounds of chicken tenders. Consumers found metal

About 167,171 of organic and regular frozen chicken products from Perdue Foods got recalled by the company Friday because the nuggets and tenders might have metal.

“The problem was discovered after the firm received consumer complaints about metal wire embedded in the product and notified (USDA-Food Safety Inspection Service) of the issue,” said the USDA-posted recall notice.
