Recalls

133,000 pounds of sausage got recalled nationwide. Bone fragments caused a mouth injury

The long list of ingredients that make up sausage shouldn’t include pieces of bone large enough to cause a mouth injury. So, Salm Partners recalled about 133,039 pounds of Parkview Turkey Polska Kielbasa that went to stores around the nation.

The USDA’s recall notice says Salm Partners and the USDA’s Food Safety Inspection Service “had received consumer complaints reporting that pieces of bone were found in the turkey kielbasa product. In addition, FSIS received two consumer complaints regarding this issue.

“There has been one reported minor oral injury associated with consumption of this product.”

This covers 13-ounce packs with establishment number No. P-32009 and use by dates of April 24, 2024 or April 27, 2024.
