Check your kid’s medicine — some has been recalled after yeast contamination was found

After finding a microbial contamination “due to the presence of yeast,” Church & Dwight recalled one lot of TheraBreath Kids Strawberry Splash, an anti-cavity oral rinse.

The company-written, FDA-posted notice says the recalled lot of 16-ounce bottles, No. PA3083011, was sold from May 31 through Sept. 2 on Amazon.

“The product poses no risk to healthy children, while it could potentially pose a health risk to immune compromised children,” the recall notice said.
