Nestlé recalls Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough across the U.S. after consumers found wood

That might be wood in the dough and nobody was happy to see it. That’s why Nestlé USA made a not-food-in-your-food recall of two batches of Nestlé Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough “break and bake” Bars.

“While no illnesses or injuries have been reported, we are taking this action out of an abundance of caution after a small number of consumers contacted Nestlé USA about this issue,” the company said in a FDA-posted recall notice.

This covers batch Nos. 311457531K, best by 8/22/23, and 311557534K, best by 10/23/23. Either toss the bars out or return them to stores for a full refund or replacement.
