2.2 million candles sold only at Target recalled. They might cause cuts and burns

Candles should bring good smells to the room, not bring out the first aid kit to treat cuts or burns. That’s why Target recalled 2.2 million candles sold under its Threshold brand.

The candle’s jar can crack or break during use, posing laceration and burn hazards,” the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission recall notice states.

Target knows about 19 times jars have cracked or broken, one that caused an injury.
