Over 6,200 frozen pizzas recalled after some consumers munch metal

“Metal” is for pizza pans and pizza cutters, not actual pizza, which is why Home Run Inn recalled 13,099 pounds — or about 6,256 pizzas — of its Chicago Premium Pizzeria Deluxe Sausage Classic Pizza.

The Woodbridge, Illinois, company made the not-food-in-your-food recall after it “received consumer complaints reporting metal was found in the pizza,” according to a USDA recall notice.
