DeSantis to join Dave Rubin at $140-a-ticket event at The Fillmore Miami Beach

Ron DeSantis is heading to Miami Beach this June for an event billed as a “premium conversation” with Miami-based conservative commentator Dave Rubin highlighting the governor’s accomplishments and discussing his future.

The June 11 event, to be held at The Fillmore Miami Beach at The Jackie Gleason Theater, will include a live episode of The Rubin Report and will feature special guests Ben Shapiro, Adam Carolla and Jillian Michaels.

“Florida’s rise in popularity among everyone from young professionals to artists, entrepreneurs, and families is impossible to ignore,” states a press release. “The political realignment, business boom, and influx of companies, capital, and talent have helped give the state an identity entirely its own.”

Tickets, which according to Ticketmaster start at $140, can be purchased here. A portion of the proceeds will go to support PragerU, a conservative media nonprofit.

DeSantis is in his final year in office and is not on the ballot this November, when voters will choose his successor. He’s likely to tout his plan to cut property taxes, which is expected to drop in June.
