Early voting has begun. Where to go in Miami, Miami Beach, Hialeah and Homestead
There’s less than a week to go until the Nov. 4 election — but that doesn’t mean you need to wait until Election Day to vote.
Residents in Miami, Miami Beach, Hialeah and Homestead are voting on new mayors and commissioners this year, and early voting sites are open for voters who prefer to avoid the Election Day rush.
Check below to see which early voting sites are open in your city.
City of Miami early voting sites
Saturday was the start of early voting season in Miami, and those polling sites will be open through Sunday.
On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, the sites are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday, the hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
There are eight sites to choose from:
- Carrie P. Meek Senior and Cultural Center, 1300 NW 50th St., Liberty City
- Miami City Hall, 3500 Pan American Drive, Coconut Grove
- Gerry Curtis Park Community Center, 1901 NW 24th Ave., Allapattah
- Hispanic Branch Library, 1398 SW First St. #100, Little Havana
- Legion Memorial Park Community Center, 6447 NE Seventh Ave., Upper East Side
- Shenandoah Branch Library, 2111 SW 19th St., Shenandoah
- Stephen P. Clark Center lobby, 111 NW First St., Downtown Miami
- West Flagler Branch Library, 5050 W. Flagler St., Flagami
Miami Beach early voting sites
Early voting in Miami Beach began last week and will run through Sunday. Residents can choose between two locations: Miami Beach City Hall (1700 Convention Center Drive) or the North Shore Branch Library (7501 Collins Ave.).
The sites are open this week from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
On Saturday and Sunday, the hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Hialeah early voting sites
In Hialeah, early voting began Monday and will run through Sunday at the John F. Kennedy Library, 190 W. 49th St.
Until Friday, the hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday, the site will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Homestead early voting sites
Early voting in Homestead takes place this Thursday through Saturday at the William F. Dickinson Community Center, 1601 N. Krome Ave.
On Thursday and Friday, the polling site will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. On Saturday, the hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
