Tim Tebow, Demi-Leigh Tebow share major family news five years after wedding
After nearly five years of marriage, Tim Tebow and his wife Demi-Leigh Tebow are sharing big news.
On Jan. 14, the couple announced on social media that they are expecting their first child together.
The Tebows have been married since 2020. They wed during “an intimate sunset ceremony at La Paris Estate in Cape Town, South Africa,” Demi-Leigh Tebow’s native country.
The former football star and former Miss Universe met in 2018 at an annual Night to Shine event, according to People.
Now, the couple is sharing news that their family is growing.
Alongside a video showing Tim Tebow and Demi-Leigh Tebow embracing each other on a ranch, they revealed a series of sonogram images.
“Baby Tebow,” she captioned the post.
Fans were quick to share their congratulations. “Little miracle is so blessed to have you two as his/her parents,” one person said.
“I’ve been waiting for this! Congratulations,” another follower wrote.
“We are just so excited and so over the moon to be having a baby together,” Demi-Leigh Tebow told People as Tim Tebow said he’s ”honored for the privilege of getting the responsibility and the joy of being mom and dad.”
Demi-Leigh Tebow revealed she’s currently 16 weeks pregnant, adding that she’s “so grateful because I just couldn’t imagine a better life partner to do life with first and foremost.”
”To be able to raise a little tiny human being together. I’m so grateful that Tim is my husband... that we get to do parenting together,” she continued.
As for Tim Tebow, he told People that the idea of becoming a dad hasn’t fully settled in yet. “But when I’m with her and I see the belly growing, then it just becomes so real.”
Demi-Leigh Tebow told People she believes her husband’s “thoughtfulness” will make him an “extremely gracious” father.
And Tim Tebow told People his wife will be a “fierce defender and protector” of their child, calling her “extremely loyal and loving.”
