Mail service to Cuba is slow — but at least 1 Miami postcard made it
And on the 26th day, a postcard mailed from Miami finally arrived to its destination in Havana.
The postcard was mailed on March 16, the same day postal service to Cuba resumed after a hiatus of more than half a century. InCubaToday sent out the simple correspondence to a friend in Havana to find out how long it would take to reach its destination.
Confirmation of it’s arrival was received Wednesday, although the postcard actually was delivered to the Havana home on Monday.
In Cuba Today also mailed a postcard from Havana to Miami.
We’ll let you know when that one arrives.
