Trump, Curbelo and Rubio tweet about Cuba on Air Force One ride to Miami
While headed to Miami to announce Donald Trump’s new Cuba policy, the South Florida politicians behind it triumphantly tweeted from their seats on Air Force One.
U.S. Representative Carlos Curbelo tweeted a photo of himself, Senator Marco Rubio, labor secretary Alex Acosta and Florida congressman Mario Diaz-Balart on Air Force One.

Rubio tweeted a photo of himself and Diaz-Balart fleshing out the new rules over a pot of Cuban coffee, followed by his full statement on the policy. He hashtagged everything #BetterDealforCuba.

Trump retweeted both pictures, and offered praise for how Vice President Mike Pence, the State Department and the Department of Homeland Security have represented the U.S. at the Central American conference in Miami.
One of his last tweets on the Cuba policy proclaimed: “We are going to empower the Cuban people and hold the regime accountable!”
