Former “Today” show anchor Hoda Kotb’s family has grown by one.

On Thursday, July 10, Kotb, 60, took to her Instagram page to share a video of her two daughters, Haley Joy, 8, and Hope Catherine, 6, meeting the newest addition to their family.

The video showed Haley and Hope shocked over welcoming their new puppy into their lives. “Mama, can I hold her,” Hope is heard asking Kotb as the pup takes in her new surroundings.

“It’s official! Meet our newest addition— WAFFLES,” Kotb captioned the video.

In the comments, Kotb’s fans shared in the enjoyment.

“Watching Hoda girl live her best life with her girls fills my WHOLE HEART,” one commenter wrote.

“The best feeling is bringing a new pup into the family when you have kids ! So cute,” another comment read.

“Nothing like having a dog as a child. Adorable,” shared another commenter.

The adorable video of Waffles comes just over a month after Kotb revealed her youngest daughter, Hope, was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes.

“As anyone with a child who has Type 1 (knows), especially a little kid, you’re constantly watching, you’re constantly monitoring, you’re constantly checking, which is what I did all the time when I was (at ‘Today’). You’re distracted,” Kotb explained while talking with current “Today” show co-hosts Savannah Guthrie and Craig Melvin in May.

“You just get a priority check in your life,” Kotb continued. “I can be here and sweating what’s happening to Hope in the morning and in the night, or I can be there and feel relief that I can see.”
