A young bull moose was caught on camera in Idaho enjoying “a leisurely stroll” in a turquoise-colored lake, wildlife officials said.

The animal was spotted the Fourth of July at Bear Lake State Park, the Idaho Fish and Game’s Southeast Region said in a Facebook post.

Wildlife officials said crowds were cleared and North Beach was temporarily closed to the public.

Multiple agencies came together to usher the moose three miles to a quieter area where the animal could “relax and enjoy his own picnic,” officials said.

One video shows the moose between a boat and a vehicle as it walked along the shoreline.

Another video shows just the moose as it tromps in the water.

Dozens of people admiring the moose commented on the Facebook videos.

“Moose Messiah, come follow me,” one person commented.

“That is gorgeous,” another person said.

“No longer bear lake! Now known as moose lake!” another person said.

Bear Lake is a fresh-water lake in eastern Idaho that expands into Utah.

The lake is also known as the “Caribbean of the Rockies” because of its turquoise coloring, according to Visit Idaho.

Visitors can boat, picnic and swim at the lake.
