Powerball player wins $200,000 prize. Where in the US was the lucky ticket sold?
A Powerball player in Pennsylvania won $200,000, just missing the $163 million jackpot, lottery officials say.
The ticket matched four winning numbers and the Powerball, and purchased Power Play, in the drawing Monday, June 30, the Pennsylvania Lottery said.
The lucky ticket was sold at Tobacco King in South Abington Township, about a 130-mile drive northwest from Philadelphia.
Nobody won the grand prize, which rises to an estimated $174 million, with a cash value of about $79.7 million, for the next drawing Wednesday, July 2, the national Powerball site said.
The winning numbers were 13, 28, 44, 52 and 55, with a Powerball of 6. The Power Play multiplier was 4x.
More than 310,000 other Powerball tickets sold in the United States also won prizes ranging from $4 to $50,000, the lottery said.
The Powerball jackpot was last won May 31, when a California player hit the $204.5 million grand prize.
