A “suspicious” box truck with its blinkers on caught the attention of officers in Ohio — and when they approached they could see and hear movement inside.

They weren’t expecting to discover a mischievous little creature behind the wheel, the Doylestown Police Department said in a May 27 post on Facebook.

Photos show a raccoon standing on the truck’s cup holder and leaning over the dashboard with what looks like torn up cardboard in its little hands. One of the photos shows an officer shining a flashlight into the driver’s side of the truck and either taking a photo or recording a video with his phone in his other hand.

“My hands are on the dash officer!!!” someone joked in the comments under one of the photos.

“Masked bandit, on the loose…” someone else said.

“Mischievous,” another person said.

Others simply commented, saying they found the “little fella” cute.

“At least he wasn’t smoking meth!” someone said, referencing the viral video of a raccoon named Chewy found with a methamphetamine pipe during an Ohio traffic stop earlier in the month.

“Chewy out on bail and back to the hustle,” someone said.

Doylestown is about a 40-mile drive south of Cleveland.
