A Virginia woman won a huge lottery prize playing her favorite game online, lottery officials said.

Kendrea Linton has won prizes in The Lamp game several times before, but this time was different — she scored a jackpot worth $443,343, the Virginia Lottery said in a May 22 news release.

“I saw it and said, ‘Oh my gosh, I really did win!’” Linton told lottery officials.

She said she plans to put her winnings toward her retirement, according to lottery officials.

The odds of winning per game are 1 in 3.55, and the odds of winning the jackpot vary by price point, lottery officials said.

The game costs between 50 cents and $30 per play, according to the game’s web page. The estimated jackpot as of May 23 is more than $160,000.

Many people can gamble or play games of chance without harm. However, for some, gambling is an addiction that can ruin lives and families.

If you or a loved one shows signs of gambling addiction, you can seek help by calling the national gambling hotline at 1-800-522-4700 or visiting the National Council on Problem Gambling website.
