A lottery player is set to get much richer after scoring a huge prize in North Carolina.

The player bought a Carolina Cash 5 ticket that matched all the numbers picked in the March 29 drawing, making it worth nearly $270,000, results show.

The winning numbers: 1-3-7-12-30.

So where did the player hit the jackpot? The lucky ticket was sold at the Quality Mart gas station in Pinnacle, a roughly 20-mile drive northwest from Winston-Salem, the N.C. Education Lottery wrote on its website and on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Cash 5 is a rolling jackpot game with tickets that start at $1. To score a jackpot prize, a person’s ticket must match all five numbers picked in a drawing.

Lottery officials shared news of the big win over the weekend, before the lucky ticket holder would have been able to claim their $268,966 prize. In North Carolina, drawing game winners have six months to come forward, game rules show.
