Two lottery players hit jackpot, winning six-figure prizes in Georgia. Here’s where
A stop at a gas station proved lucrative for two lucky Georgia lottery players.
They hit the jackpot playing Fantasy 5, each netting a six-figure prize one day apart, according to the Georgia Lottery.
A Marietta resident matched all five numbers in the March 1 drawing, winning $203,180 on a ticket they bought at the RaceTrac on Macland Road SW, lottery officials said.
The other ticket, sold at a QuikTrip in Lawrenceville, won a $125,000 jackpot in the March 2 drawing, according to the lottery.
Both players beat odds of 1-in-850,668 to snag the grand prize.
The winning Fantasy 5 numbers drawn March 1 were 1-5-6-34-36, results show.
The winning numbers in the March 2 drawing were 4-5-21-36-39, according to the lottery’s website.
Winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim prizes and are encouraged to sign the back of their ticket, the Georgia Lottery said.
