Just one year after experiencing a stroke, Snoop Dogg’s daughter, Cori Broadus, is now a mom.

Broadus announced the birth of her child on Feb. 28, revealing her daughter arrived three months early.

“The princess arrived at 6 months,” Broadus shared.

“I’ve cried and cried, I’ve compared and compared, blaming myself because I wasn’t able to give her all that she needed. But no matter what God always shows me that He got me,” she continued. “Baby girl came at 25 weeks today and she’s the best!! Thank You God for getting me this far.”

Broadus and her partner, Wayne Deuce, announced they were expecting a baby girl in late December.

In February 2024, Broads took to her Instagram Stories to reveal she had suffered a stroke at 24 years old.

“I had a severe stroke this a.m.,” Broadus initially wrote. “I started breaking down crying when they told me.”

Broadus continued in a second slide, showing a photo of herself lying in a hospital bed.

“Like I’m only 24,” she wrote. “What did I do in my past to deserve all of this.”

In an exclusive interview with People in September 2023, Broadus revealed that while it’s been a long health journey she has “been good, better than I’ve ever been.”

When she was 6 years old, Broadus was diagnosed with Lupus.

“I’ve had medication since I was 6 years old, depending on these drugs all my life. So I wanted better for myself. I wanted to change because it just became a lot. I’m only 24 years old, taking 10 to 12 pills every single day. So I kind of just went cold Turkey,” sharing her decision to take a “holistic” approach.
