Powerball player wins life-changing prize at Florida Publix. Where was ticket sold?
A Powerball player narrowly missed the $233 million jackpot — but still won big in Florida.
The lucky ticket, sold at a Publix supermarket in Naples, won $1 million after matching five numbers but not the Powerball in the drawing Monday, Feb. 24, the Florida Lottery said.
The winning numbers were 10-11-34-59-68 and red Powerball 14, according to the Powerball website. The Power Play multiplier was 3x.
There were no $2 million winners, and no one hit the jackpot, results show.
The next Powerball drawing is Feb. 26 with an estimated $248 million grand prize.
According to the Florida Lottery, winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim prizes and are encouraged to sign the back of their ticket.
Naples is about a 40-mile drive south from Fort Myers.
