Despite promising to keep her child off of social media, Gypsy-Rose Blanchard has continued to be open about her life as a mom.

And she recently shared a quote about how her almost 2-month-old daughter is helping her heal.

“With every kiss with every lullaby with every cuddle, I heal my inner child,” Blanchard wrote on her Instagram Story.

“I’m slowly starting to finally heal the wounds of the bloodline I didn’t ask for,” she continued, “through the eyes of a child I was blessed with.”

Blanchard gave birth a year after she was released from prison on December 28, 2023, after serving eight years of her 10 year sentence.

The 33-year-old pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in 2016, confessing that she convinced her then-boyfriend to stab her mom, Dee Dee Blanchard, to death while she slept, CNN reports.

Blanchard said she was a victim of Munchausen syndrome by proxy, according to CNN.

According to the Cleveland Clinic, Munchausen syndrome by proxy, or Factitious Disorder Imposed on Another, “is a mental health condition where you pretend that someone within your care is sick when they aren’t. It’s a type of abuse.”

Throughout Blanchard’s childhood, Dee Dee Blanchard was accused of convincing doctors and those closest to them that Blanchard was battling leukemia, muscular dystrophy and more.

On Valentine’s Day, Blanchard gave a rare look into her and her boyfriend Ken Urker’s life as a family of three.

She shared a photo of her daughter, Aurora Raina, on Urker’s chest. “My two loves on Valentine’s Day,” Blanchard wrote.

“She’s got so much hair! Awe! Daddy looks like he’s so in love with her,” a comment read.

In a statement shared in January, Blanchard wrote, “To everyone asking, No, I will not be posting pictures of Aurora. I understand everyone’s excitement and we appreciate the support, but we value the privacy and safety of our daughter.”
