An Atlanta-area acupuncturist accused of multiple sexual assaults may have more victims, Georgia police told news outlets.

Meu Keon Kim, 70, was arrested Tuesday, Feb. 11, on five counts of sexual battery after the alleged assaults at his Doraville clinic, WSB-TV reported, citing the Doraville Police Department.

Kim was also charged with aggravated sexual battery, jail records show.

Police began investigating after two patients reported they had been assaulted, according to WAGA. The alleged incidents happened months apart; one was reported April 27 and the other Dec. 28, online records show.

“Our team of investigators examined the cases and found probable cause to believe that Dr. Meu Kim committed criminal acts of sexual battery and aggravated sexual battery,” Assistant Chief of Doraville Police B.C. Harris told the station.

McClatchy News reached out to Doraville police for more information Feb. 14 and was awaiting a response.

Officers raided Kim’s Acupuncture, also known as Kim’s Oriental Medicine Clinic, on Feb. 11 as part of the ongoing investigation, WXIA reported. On its Yelp page, the business boasts a five-star rating and says it offers a “natural and holistic approach to medicine.”

A sign posted on the clinic’s door Feb. 13 said it was temporarily closed “due to a family emergency,” according to WXIA.

Authorities said they believe Kim may have other victims and urged them to come forward.

“You can come forward and tell us your story,” Harris told WAGA. “We want you to. ... Every victim that we have just makes the case stronger. And so we need their help to ensure that he doesn’t ever do this again.”

Anyone with knowledge of the alleged assaults involving Kim is asked to call Doraville police Detective Kimberly Harris at 770-455-1000, WSB-TV reported.

Anonymous tips can also be submitted on the department’s website, the station said.

Doraville is about a 15-mile drive northeast from downtown Atlanta.
