Someone is holding Georgia lottery ticket worth $1.2 million. Here’s where it was sold
A lucky Georgia lottery player has a million new reasons to smile.
Someone in Savannah hit the Fantasy 5 jackpot, winning $1,297,317 after matching all five numbers in the Feb. 10 drawing, the Georgia Lottery said.
The player bought the lucky ticket at a BP gas station on Abercorn Street in Savannah, beating odds of 1-in-850,668 to win the game’s top prize, according to the lottery.
The winning numbers Monday, Feb. 10, were 03-04-26-29-34, results show.
Additional information wasn’t immediately available.
It’s the latest in a string of recent lottery wins for the Peach State. A Powerball player in Roswell netted a $100,000 prize in the Feb. 8 drawing, and another player won $50,000 on a ticket sold in Norcross.
Winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim prizes and are encouraged to sign the back of their ticket, the Georgia Lottery said.
