Poker player wins big jackpot at Las Vegas casino while celebrating friend’s birthday
An Indiana man was celebrating his friend’s birthday in Las Vegas when he won a big prize at a poker table.
His win happened Jan. 31 at Harrah’s Las Vegas, the casino said in a Feb. 3 news release.
The gambler was visiting from Greensburg to celebrate his best friend’s birthday.
He went to Harrah’s for the first time and sat at a Three-Card Poker table, the casino said.
After about 20 minutes of playing, he hit the $313,064 jackpot.
His winning cards were a jack, queen and king of diamonds. His progressive cards were a 10 and an ace of diamonds.
Now, he has plans to invest his winnings.
Harrah’s is on the Las Vegas Strip.
