Josh Hall tells estranged wife Christina Haack to ‘shut up’ in new ‘The Flip Off’ clip
Less than a month before its premiere date, HGTV has shared another snippet of its upcoming show, “The Flip Off,” featuring Christina Haack, Tarek El Moussaand Heather Rae El Moussa.
This time, the clip features Haack and her estranged husband Josh Hall, who was expected to be featured regularly on the competition show prior to their separation in July.
The clip shows both Haack and Hall in a vehicle together. It starts off with Hall saying, “This is a competition. You got to pull out all the stops, whatever it takes to win. I’ll do it. Halls rule.”
Haack, who is sitting in the passenger seat, seems less than enthused however as Hall continued. “You’re supposed to say it with me,” Hall told Haack. “Or repeat. Or something that shows you’re with me.”
“Remember you’re a Hall now,” he added. “Don’t get confused in this competition about what your last name is.”
When Haack refused to acknowledge him, Hall calls her “rude” and that’s when Haack says, “I just don’t over talk.”
“You know all the (expletive) you say and I’m just like, ‘I’d wish you’d shut up already,’” Hall responded. “My wife’s pissing me off already.”
The clip then transitions into the talk between Haack and Tarek El Moussa where she reveals she and Hall haven’t been getting along.
In that teaser, Haack is seen breaking down, telling Tarek El Moussa about the separation. “We had a blow up,” Haack revealed, “middle fingers in my face.”
“Things with Josh have been bad for a long time,” she told Tarek El Moussa. “The kids literally asked me to leave. They told me he’s not nice to me.”
HGTV has since revealed that Hall is no longer a significant part of “The Flip Off.” Instead, Haack will compete against Tarek and Heather Rae El Moussa.
“The Flip Off” sets to premiere Jan. 29 on HGTV.
