Gypsy Rose Blanchard gives birth months after confirming child’s paternity

On New Year’s Day, Gypsy Rose Blanchard and her partner, Ken Urker, shared big news.

In an Instagram post, Urker revealed he and Blanchard are now parents.

“Welcoming 2025 with the greatest gift of all,” Urker captioned the photo show himself, Blanchard and their infant child in a hospital room.

The couple has not yet shared the baby’s name.

The heartwarming news comes after Blanchard sat down with “Good Morning America” in July, confirming the paternity of her then-unborn baby.

“It was mid-March when I left Ryan. So, this is absolutely 100 percent Ken’s baby,” she explained. “There was never any question of paternity.”

It’s been a year since Blanchard was released from prison in December 2023. At the time, Blanchard was married to her first-husband, Ryan Anderson, upon her release.

They wed in 2022 while she was still incarcerated.

After separating from Anderson and filing for divorce on April 8, Blanchard rekindled her relationship with Urker.

Several months later, Blanchard announced she was pregnant with Urker’s baby in July on YouTube.

In the interview with “GMA,” Blanchard, who served seven years on a charge of second-degree murder in connection with the death mom, Dee Dee Blanchard, said she hopes to give her child everything her own mother didn’t give her.

“My mother did not want to see me meet those milestones that every child should have, like going on a first date, a prom, you know, a bike ride. All of those little milestone moments that make life worth living, I didn’t get to have that,” she said.

“And so I want my child to have all of the things that he or she could ever want in life.”
