New Cincinnati Bengals kicker Cade York ended his whirlwind week with a win.

And his girlfriend, Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Zoe Dale, had a front-row seat to it all.

The Bengals signed York to their practice squad on Dec. 4 following an injury to their starting kicker, Evan McPherson.

While speaking to media on Dec. 5, York described the signing as a “blessing” before revealing that he’s dating a Cowboys cheerleader.

“It’s been an amazing week,” he told reporters, per Joe Danneman of WXIX. “Uh, my girlfriend is actually a cheerleader for the Cowboys.”

His comment came a few days before his team was face the Cowboys on “Monday Night Football.”

York was elevated to the Bengals’ active roster on Dec. 9, hours before kickoff — meaning he would be the team’s kicker against the team his girlfriend cheers for.

Late in the first quarter, York took the field for his first kick of the game — an extra point following a touchdown.

“He’s been out there looking for a job and he gets it here while his girlfriend, Zoe Dale, is on the sideline,” MNF broadcaster Joe Buck said as York lined up for the kick.

“You can’t make it up,” he said as the kick went through the uprights.

The cameras then turned to Dale, who appeared emotional on the sideline.

“Thank you lord,” she says after the kick. “Praise God.”

During the game, ESPN sideline reporter Lisa Salters revealed that the couple have been dating for about seven months.

York hit all three of his extra point attempts and both of his field goals — one from 37 yards and another from 29.

The Bengals beat the Cowboys 27-20 in what ended up being a thriller of a game.

Aside from the love story, the game was a bit of a homecoming for York, who grew up in McKinney, Texas, about an hour away from AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

While speaking to reporters, York revealed that Dale got baptized the day before he received a call from the Bengals.

“So, it was awesome getting to do that and all of her teammates got to come watch,” he said.

After getting the call, he told his girlfriend, “Well, Zoe, I will see you at home no matter what.”

“So, yeah, it was pretty cool,” he continued.

Dale has been a Cowboys cheerleader since the start of the 2023 season, according to CBS Sports.

York was a 2022 fourth-round draft pick by the Cleveland Browns.

York spent one season with the Browns before being waived after a rough 2023 preseason.

He spent the 2023 season on several practice squads before being traded to the Washington Commanders in August.

The team released him after he missed two field goals in the 2024 season opener.
