After dating for more than a year, Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen and actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld revealed they are engaged on Nov. 29.

The photo they shared on Instagram showed Allen on one knee proposing to Steinfeld as she embraces him.

“11-22-24,” Allen wrote alongside two infinity signs.

Now, Steinfeld is sharing her own statement one week after sharing the big news.

“Still here,” the actress wrote on her Instagram Story while resharing the post that announced their engagement.

Allen and Steinfeld started dating in May 2023 but kept their romance fairly quiet for the last year until this summer.

In the latest issue of Steinfeld’s newsletter, the Beau Society, Allen spoke out the engagement, admitting he “was very nervous.”

“I think I was most nervous about you finding out about the proposal,” Allen continued. “It was hard to keep secrets from you and have other people in your life keep secrets from you. Then multiple times throughout the day a song would come on and I would tear up thinking about how special our day was going to be.”

Steinfeld said she “blacked out” after he got down on one knee.

“You were extremely surprised, you said yes, and that was all that mattered to me. And the sun was out,” Allen continued, saying he’s the happiest he’s ever been.

“It feels unbelievable to be engaged to someone who is so special and loving and caring and gorgeous and fun and happy.”

Many people congratulated the happy couple after the initial engagement announcement.

“Atta boy, let’s get you another ring in February,” a fan wrote.

“Soo happy for y’all!!” another added.

“Congratulations!!!” Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce wrote.

“Omg, I love you,” retired tennis star Serena Williams added.

“The biggest congratulations,” Steinfeld’s “Pitch Perfect” co-star Rebel Wilson shared.
