New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers is no stranger to controversy.

From sharing conspiracy theories to skepticism over various health issues, the 41-year-old future Hall of Famer has made plenty of headlines over the past few years.

And those headlines have resulted in friendships lost and broken relationships with family members, according to Rodgers.

“Losing friendships, family. It was heartbreaking,” he says in the Dec. 3 trailer for his upcoming three-part Netflix docuseries, “Aaron Rodgers: Enigma.”

The trailer begins with footage of Rodgers undergoing a sound bath.

“I live between two worlds of the extroverted and an introverted lover of silence,” he says of his football career and personal life.

“I’m trying to beat back Father Time and the expectations,” he continues, referring to his comeback from a torn Achilles last year.

The trailer then highlights some of the criticism he has received from media members over the years.

“Aaron Rodgers ain’t for everybody,” said one voiceover.

“It just feels like you’re either for him or against him,” a second voiceover adds.

Later in the trailer, Rodgers says he’s trying to find a balance between what his football legacy is and what his character legacy is.

“Once I started my spiritual journey, everything shifted,” he says behind footage of him taking part in various rituals and ceremonies.

While his spirituality has been a big talking point for Rodgers off the field, it’s his history with conspiracy theories that has many people talking.

During a 2021 appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show,” Rodgers said he was “immunized” against the COVID-19 virus, despite not receiving the vaccine.

There’s also the 2023-24 drama between Rodgers and talk show host Jimmy Kimmel.

In January, Rodgers suggested that Kimmel was worried about the release of Jeffrey Epstein’s client list during an appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show.” Kimmel called the comments lies, said they endangered his family and threatened to sue if Rodgers continued making accusations.

Rodgers has made numerous attempts to clear his name in the past, and his upcoming Netflix docuseries is another attempt to let fans and critics into his world.

The three-part docuseries will primarily follow Rodgers’ recovery from a torn Achilles but will also detail his relationship to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and potential future in politics.

The docuseries will be available to stream Dec. 17.
