Kelly Clarkson’s son is blowing people away and clearly taking after his mom.

On TikTok, Clarkson shared a video of her 8-year-old son, Remington, who took the microphone and sang for the studio audience watching the taping of “The Kelly Clarkson Show.”

As Clarkson told her audience, Remi and her daughter, River, were in the audience because the show was taping on an off day.

Remington shined on stage, stealing the spotlight from his mom, singing Frank Sinatra’s “My Way.”

“Remy-oke!” Clarkson captioned the Tiktok video, posted on Thanksgiving.

“You’re welcome,” Clarkson told her fans after sharing his performance with her audience.

“Oh my gosh,” a very proud Clarkson said of her son as she applauded him. “(Remi) just walked right in today and said, ‘Who do I need to speak to to sing my song?’”

Fans were blown away too.

“I love how his big sister is encouraging him also,” one fan shared in the comment section.

“When your mother is Kelly Clarkson and Grandmother is Reba, you enunciate! Diction is on point,” another fan praised.

“Remi’s diction, musicality, and clarity at that tender age is extraordinary! Love to see it,” another fan added.

Remi’s performance comes several days after Clarkson opened up about her kids and how they feel about their mom potentially dating again. While talking with KOST 103.5, Clarkson admitted her children are against her dating following her divorce in 2021 from their father, Brandon Blackstock.

“They constantly bring it up, ‘Please, we don’t want you with anybody else,’” Clarkson said of her kids.

“They’re young, it’s hard to picture their mom with someone else other than their dad,” she said.

But while Clarkson understands where her kids are coming from, she admits she hopes to find love again, someday.

“I have expressed like, ‘Hey, I love you guys but Mommy needs lovings too,’” Clarkson told KOST 103.5.
