A gambler bet a dollar and some change on a slot machine game in Las Vegas.

Now, they are $21,280 richer.

The lucky player sat at a Dancing Drums slot machine at the Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa, the casino said in a Nov. 7 post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The visitor bet $1.76, hit spin and watched as the symbols flashed across the screen until a jackpot message appeared.

“Whooohooo. This lucky winner bet $1.76 to win a grand jackpot of $21,280,” the casino said.

The Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa is about a 10-mile drive northwest from the Las Vegas Strip.

Another gambler scored a slot machine jackpot at a different casino in Henderson, Nevada.

This player bet $2 on a Kung Fu Master slot machine at the Emerald Island Casino and won nearly $15,000.

Many people can gamble or play games of chance without harm. However, for some, gambling is an addiction that can ruin lives and families.

If you or a loved one shows signs of gambling addiction, you can seek help by calling the national gambling hotline at 1-800-522-4700 or visiting the National Council on Problem Gambling website.
