New details emerge in Zach Bryan’s sudden breakup with Brianna LaPaglia
Even if Brianna LaPaglia wanted to subtweet her ex-boyfriend Zach Bryan, she wouldn’t be able to.
That’s because Bryan blocked her and her Barstool Sports colleagues, Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards, on social media.
The 25-year-old revealed the new update in an Instagram comment on Nov. 5.
“We r all blocked,” she wrote in response to a fan criticizing her for not being “brave enough to tag him in the picture,” referring to a photo Portnoy and Richards posted.
The criticism came as LaPaglia’s two co-hosts were teasing a diss track they recorded, which included several digs at Bryan.

The song, titled “Smallest Man,” appears to be a play on Taylor Swift’s breakup song, “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived.”
In the song, Portnoy and Richards blast Bryan — though their criticism didn’t come with any context.
“How lucky is Bri / To be free of ZB,” Richards rapped at the end of the song, according to Page Six.
Portnoy and Richards released the song at midnight Nov. 6.
LaPaglia didn’t participate in the diss track, but she did share a photo of the cover art on her Instagram story, coupled with a peeping-eye emoji.
She later shared a photo of her and her two co-hosts with a message that read, “Goodnight. You two are absolutely bat (expletive) crazy.”
“But I do hope my daughter has friends like you both one day,” she added.
LaPaglia’s breakup with Bryan last month came as a surprise to everyone, including herself.
Bryan announced the split in an Instagram Story on Oct. 22, but failed to give LaPaglia a heads up.
“I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go our different ways. I am not perfect and never will be,” he wrote. “ ... With everything I am and to anyone I let down, I am sorry. I try my best in everything.”
LaPaglia posted a story of her own just minutes later, expressing how “blindsided” she felt by the announcement.

She proceeded to post a YouTube video of herself one hour later talking about the breakup from the floor of her bathroom.
In the video, she said she had no idea Bryan was going to post the story online, but clarified that the breakup happened the day prior, on Oct. 21.
LaPaglia took a brief break from social media and her podcast. When she returned, she revealed how the breakup will impact her future relationships moving forward.
“Not allowing the internet to take over my personal relationships anymore,” she wrote in an Oct. 30 Instagram Story, according to E! News.
“Need to set some boundaries and keep some things to myself.”
